Sandra (Rodgers) Bowers

     Sandra Bowers, 79 of the Massey Branch Community of Robbinsville, NC passed away Thursday, February 19, 2026, at her residence.

     She was a native of Graham County and the daughter of the late Frank and Nellie Von Massey Rodgers. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Troy Bowers in 2000, her grandson Jake Holder in 2023, and her brothers, JR Rodgers and Steve Rodgers.

     She is survived by her daughter, Melanie McKeldrey (Sterling Crisp), sister, Gail Corbin of Asheville NC; granddaughter, Courtney Holder; and great grandchildren, Cameron Holder, Peyton Holder, Destiny Holder, and Emma Holder.

     Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, February 23, 2026, at the Townson-Smith Chapel. Reverends Patrick Odell and Brian Stevens will officiate. Burial will follow at the Massey Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 till 1:00 pm Monday at the Chapel prior to the service.
