David Dewayne Moore

     David Dewayne Moore Sr, aged 60 years old, of the lower Tuskeegee Community in Robbinsville, NC, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 26, 2026, at Memorial Mission in Asheville, NC.

     He was the son of the late Fred Moore and Doris Moore. He is survived by his loving wife of 12 years, Kary Hartmann Moore, sons David Dwayne Moore, Jr, Kevin Moore, and wife Angie Moore, daughter Kandace Moore, brothers and their wives, Fred Jr, and Sherry Moore, Charles and Loretta Moore, sister Abigail Moore Williams, and her husband John Williams, all of Robbinsville, NC, and step-daughters Hannah, of Kannapolis, NC, and Allie, of Plattsburgh, NY. He has 8 grandchildren and several nieces, great nieces, and great nephews, that will miss him dearly. Everyone that knew David knows that he was always happy with a smile on his face. He was a constant light to those around him and a protector of everyone who knew him. He was a prankster and loved to make people laugh. He was loved and will be truly missed by many.

  Funeral Services will be held at 6:00 pm Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at the Townson-Smith Chapel.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 till 6:00 pm at the Chapel prior to the service. Reverends Onley Williams and Dwayne Payne will officiate.  Committal Services will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, March 5, 2026, at the Moore Family Cemetery.
